Cast: Robert Englund, Lisa Wilcox
This is when I decided to stop watching the series. Boring and unoriginal, the film doesn't even have any memorable dream sequences to redeem itself. By this point in the series, the creators are far more interested in exploiting Krueger's presence and persona instead of the surrealistic environment that he resides in. Freddy Krueger is revived when a junkyard dog pisses fire on his grave (!), and the heroine from part 3 (replaced by cute Lisa Wilcox) must find the strength to take him down again while her friends all fall victim to his nasty, but uninteresting tricks. Pretty dreadful all around, but it features one really cool effects shot of a pickup truck slamming into an invisible tree. Neato!
