One of the best video games ever! Mr. X is back, and this time he's kidnapped Adam Hunter in hopes of luring Axel and Blaze into a trap. This time around, Axel and Blaze are joined by Adam's little brother Skate, and a pro wrestler named Max. They've also added some moves to their arsenal, including some powerful directed energy attacks. Additionally, Blaze decided to change her wardrobe in this outing to a skimpy red bustier/miniskirt combo and a pair of really bizarre elf shoes. Apart from the elf shoes, everything about this game is a dramatic improvement over the already impressive "Streets Of Rage", with yet another awesome music score by Yuzo Koshiro. The only things missing are the two player cooperative attacks from the first game, and being able to fling bad guys into holes or off of buildings. I love doing that!
