Despite the cheezy box art, I picked this up on a whim and was thoroughly surprised by how fun it was. A standard 2D platform adventure, you fight your way through numerous worlds, picking up diamonds and weapon enhancements along the way. Great graphics and great gameplay keep your trigger finger busy for hours.

Unfortunately, the Genesis port of the game is dreadful. Graphically, it's a perfect port of the Amiga classic, but the controls are unbelievably bad. They're so bad, in fact, that they render the game unplayable, which is a real shame. Even more frustrating is the fact that the controls could have easily been mapped to something simple and reasonable. The standard Amiga controls used one button and the space bar. Don't you think the standard Genesis controller with its three buttons (and later six) could have mapped that functionality exactly?
