Fascinating. I amazingly didn't see this film until its sixtieth anniversary digital restoration. A magical tale of adventure and discovery as young Dorothy (Judy Garland) finds herself transported to the bizarre land of Oz and has to try and find her way home. She is befriended by a scarecrow, a tin man, and a cowardly lion, and together they destroy the Wicked Witch of the West (played with villainous glee by Margaret Hamilton) and are granted their wishes by the eccentric Wizard of Oz. A fantastic looking production with groundbreaking cinematography and a top notch cast. A true classic.
