A spectacular film that seamlessly marries live action with cel-animated characters. Bob Hoskins is a down and out private detective whose brother was murdered by a toon while working on a case in Toontown. Now he's involved in another toon related case framing Roger Rabbit for the murder of a cartoon tycoon, R. K. Maroon. A fantastically fun film to watch with a spectacular array of effects, and a definite must-see for anyone who loves classic cartoons. There are enough in-jokes, cameos, and obscure characters to warrant several viewings. Great fun for all.
