George Lucas's classic tale of a boy, a girl, and a galaxy. Space opera the way it was meant to be, with fun and exciting characters, a strong and dynamic musical score, revolutionary state of the art visual effects, and a classic tale of good vs. evil. George Lucas single-handedly revolutionized the entire film industry overnight with his unique vision, and his use of editing, sound, music, and special effects were a ground breaking achievement that people had never known was possible. A lot of the effects don't hold up to today's critical standards, but they're just as effective and exciting as they were when the film first came out. A true classic in every sense.
