Impressive effects help out this otherwise slow and boring space drama as treason and terrorism show up on a space ship bearing a remarkable similarity to the U.S.S. Discovery from "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968). Unfortunately, human drama plays the biggest part in this film, making it corny and uninteresting. I don't even remember what the crew's mission was or the motivations of the characters.
