An improvement over the original, but it's really stupid and has a cheezy Marvel comic book feel (is that because Frank Miller wrote the screenplay?). This time Robocop is up against a nasty band of drug dealers, and the leader of the band eventually gets turned into a next generation Robocop. Still dependent on drugs, he turns against his makers and battles it out with the outdated original Robocop in a spectacular stop-motion fight scene courtesy of Phil Tippett.
