Cast: Tom Cruise, Rebecca DeMornay, Curtis Armstrong
I really enjoyed this film about a well-behaved and shy rich boy (charming Tom Cruise in his debut film) whose biggest anxiety is not getting into a good college. When his parents leave town for a few days, his friends convince him to live it up and talk him into hiring the services of a call girl (Rebecca DeMornay). Poor Joel can't pay for the young girl's services, so she takes one of his mother's expensive art things instead. Naturally this leads to all sorts of trouble, leading up to a nasty confrontation with "Guido, The Killer Pimp." Amazingly, everything works out for everyone in this innocently fun and sexy comedy romp.
