The "Police Squad" TV show hits the big screen years after its initial run. It's fun and funny as bumbling cop Frank Drebin (straight-faced Leslie Nielsen) is busy trying to bust the villainous Ricardo Montalban and his plot to assassinate the Queen of England. The jokes, puns, slapstick, and sight gags are heaped on non-stop, with O.J. Simpson's mishaps nearly stealing the show. Sexy Priscilla Presley is also on hand for sexual humor and tension. Unfortunately, not everyone likes this kind of entertainment, and I don't think Heather has forgiven me yet for recommending this film to her - oops.
