Ugh. With an all-star cast like this, how could this movie be so incredibly bad? Chevy Chase is a rich and snotty financial advisor who has the hots for Demi Moore (and she's quite hot in this movie). He takes a wrong turn in a bad neck of the woods and ends up in the hospitality of the deranged Justice of the Peace Dan Ackroyd. He passes sentence on Chase to either marry his daughter (John Candy in drag) or be put to death. Chase and Moore then spend the rest of the film desperately trying to escape the old coot and his minions, and eventually do. But will they ever be safe from him? Good looking and well made, but just dumb, dumb, dumb.
