What a bummer this turned out to be! After the extremely cool "A Nightmare On Elm Street" (1984), we get a cheesy sequel of sorts that features a high school kid becoming possessed by the spirit of Freddy Krueger. Naturally, his family has just moved into the house that Nancy lived in during the original and he luckily sleeps in her spiritually tainted room. Eventually, love conquers all and Freddy is banished back into oblivion. Ugh. The first ten minutes of the film are the best, which is a very cool dream sequence about a school bus that takes a detour to hell.
