Looker (1981)

Rating: ***
Director: Michael Crichton
Cast: Albert Finney, James Coburn

Another look at technology going awry and being used for evil, by writer Michael Crichton. James Coburn has come up with the perfect advertising campaign. He hires models and scans them into his computer so that he can flawlessly animate them later. Then he murders the models so he doesn't have to pay them. He has also discovered a way to send hypnotic suggestion through television signals and it's up to Albert Finney to stop his wicked plans of mass manipulation. A good technological suspense film.
