Rather disappointing. The ad campaigns were pretty cool, promising an exciting cross between "Aliens" (1986) and "The Terminator" (1984), when in fact it was neither. A couple of alien parasites come to earth. The "good one" is trying to apprehend the "bad one," and they survive by inhabiting human host bodies (and the humans don't survive their relationships with the parasites). The bad guy keeps jumping bodies at opportune moments while the good guy manages to stay in the same body of a deceased cop (Kyle MacLachlan) throughout the entire picture. The aliens finally catch up with each other in a church where a big battle ensues. Pretty boring and uninspiring throughout, and the "fish out of water" routines get a little tiresome.
