1977? Wow, I would have thought this was much older. This is a cheesy giant insect movie about a group of people who soon find themselves surrounded and overrun by giant ants (they're about six feet long). Now don't get me wrong, giant ants are pretty cool, but the continued use of ultra-lame "ant vision" gets pretty old, and we later find out that the ants can emit a gas that hypnotizes and enslaves humans. Huh? Our heroes finally lure the ants to a giant sugar factory and burn them to the ground.
