A fun and thoroughly enjoyable romantic comedy thriller featuring the lovely Audrey Hepburn and a charming Cary Grant. Regina Lampert's (Audrey Hepburn) husband is murdered, and her life becomes a mess. He apparently stole a quarter of a million dollars and quite a few people are interested in getting it back, which puts Ms. Lampert's life in constant peril. Enter the suave and charming Peter Joshua (Cary Grant) who decides to help her out, but can anybody be trusted? The constant plot twists, quirky characters, witty dialog, and excellent performances are a treat and Cary Grant's shower scene is quite memorable. Audrey Hepburn plays the bitchy, neurotic, and schizophrenic Regina Lampert with charm and sophistication, and is quite easy on the eye as well. A very clever and well written film.
