What a bizarre time the 1960's must have been! Here's a sci-fi sex romp featuring Jane Fonda as Barbarella, a ditzy intergalactic blonde bimbo. Quite surprisingly, she gets naked in the opening credits, which sets the tone for the rest of the film quite nicely. She gets orders to take out a mad scientist named "Duran Duran," and learns about the carnal pleasures of sex from the various nasty guys she runs into on Duran Duran's planet. Full of interesting sets, surreal imagery, and bizarre 1960's sexuality, it's mildly entertaining.
