An exotic dancer named Janette is horribly disfigured in a car accident, and only a mad scientist's experimental serum can restore her beauty. But the good doctor falls hopelessly in love with his patient, inciting jealousy and resentment in his beautiful assistant, Monique. When Janette's scars start to reappear, the doctor has no choice but to turn himself into a hideous monster and murder young women in the night in order to make more serum. But despite everyone's efforts, Janette will never love the doctor, and the doctor will never love Monique. Ah yes, such is the price of vanity and unrequited love, and soon the doctor is unable to return to human form. It's a plodding cautionary tale of the effects of nuclear radiation, and while it's competently made, it's pretty much completely uninteresting. The actress who plays Monique is extremely pretty, and she's the only thing that kept my attention.
