Oh my goodness. Who would have thought that "Sukeban Deka - Codename: Asamiya Saki" (2006) would spawn a softcore sexploitation parody? Seventeen year old Moromie Saki (Japanaese AV idol Mihiro Taniguchi) is a high school girl who has been blackmailed into becoming an undercover detective - a sukeban deka - for some shady organization. She's armed with a yo-yo and wears her badge on the front of her standard issue see-through panties. Hey, I don't make this stuff up, I just report it. Saki is assigned to infiltrate a high school and crack a teenage prostitution ring, but all she wants to do is fall in love and be a normal teenage girl. However, when things go sour, she dons the official panties again and punishes the evil perverts with her yo-yo.

Not surprisingly, this abomination was shot on video with a miniscule budget, and exists solely to play off the charms of its leading lady, Mihiro Taniguchi. The impossibly alluring Mihiro manages to add a sweetness to everything she touches, and pulls off a fairly convincing performance as a tough, but tender young girl. Unfortunately, the "action scenes" are anything but, and anything that involves a yo-yo is done with a stupid cut-away shot of a yo-yo against a black background. The only part of the film worth mentioning is a very silly flashback of Saki training to be a female gang boss, learning important yakuza skills like "shit squatting" and staring down an opponent. It's very tongue-in-cheek and actually quite amusing. Another amusing twist, which may or may not have political implications, is that the film ends with Saki presumably blowing up a conference attended by President George W. Bush. That makes as much sense as anything else does.
