Picking up where "Reborn From Hell: Samurai Armageddon" (1998) left off, legendary swordsman Yagyu Jubei continues to pursue the seven devils that are waiting for Armageddon to take place. Fortunately, he rescues Ohiro (Yuko Moriyama) from the clutches of the enemy and helps her to avenge her father's death. She is sadly absent for the rest of the movie, but thankfully out of harm's way, since it was hard for me to watch her getting molested by the evil governor. Pretty soon it's all-out war as Jubei's men fall one by one until the ultimate showdown where Jubei has to face his own father. More enjoyable and action packed than the first installment, but with the same low budget production values and cheezy effects. It does feature some very nice blood eruptions, though.
