Excruciatingly silly and stupid. Jacky Cheung and Yu Tung Wei are a pair of goofy HK cops chasing down a nasty triad boss who's trafficking guns. Jacky's cousins from the mainland (including adorable Loletta Lee) come for a visit and generally just get in the way and make a mess of things. Sultry and slutty Bonnie Yu is the triad boss's girlfriend and Lam Ching Ying plays the super-cool no-nonsense police captain. The film's one saving grace is the occasional over-the-top gunplay, which is executed quite nicely with flair and frenzy. One has to wonder what happened to the rest of the film.
