Another gritty police drama from Kirk Wong ("Crime Story"). Life is tough for Danny Lee, head of the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau. He's working on nailing a big-time crook (Anthony Wong), but his girlfriend is an informer, one of his colleagues is crooked, and the public and his superiors want to shut him down. But, by disobeying orders and breaking the rules he finally gets his man. Danny Lee's performance is intense and hot tempered (his standard role it seems) and Anthony Wong always makes a great villain. Sexy shotgun toting Cecilia Yip is along for the ride as Wong's mistress and she's wonderful to watch. Much credit needs to be given to her for being able to run in her outfits.
