The 1970's must have been a very strange time. The only thing that makes this Hong Kong rip-off of "King Kong" watchable is getting to see gorgeous European sex kitten Evelyn Kraft run around half naked for the entire film. She is quite stunning. Danny Lee volunteers to lead a dangerous mission into the Himalayas in order to capture a giant ape called Peking Man. After his team abandons him, he meets jungle girl Evelyn Kraft and convinces her to come back to Hong Kong with him and her big monkey man friend. Of course, the wickedness and greed of Man exploits the gentle giant and he eventually goes on a rampage through the streets of Hong Kong in complete Godzilla style in order to save his girl. The whole thing ends in tragedy for everyone. The continuity of this Shaw Brothers extravaganza is jarring at best, sacrificing common sense in order to pack as much action into the film as possible.
