Michelle Yeoh plays Indiana Jones (complete with a whip) in this 1938 adventure, but she's fighting the Japanese instead of the Germans. It sure is nice to see Ms. Yeoh smile as much as she does in this film, which adds a lot to her cute factor. The normally rigid Richard Ng actually bounces around quite a bit instead of being just a bumbling oaf for a change. The fighting is slick, and Michelle gets to use and defend against a variety of weapons, but the heroic theme music gets really repetitive after about the first twenty minutes of the film.
