Godzilla's 22nd film where he finally dies at the end, but Godzilla Junior is growing up fast and looks a lot like dad. Godzilla has contracted a lethal virus from Space Godzilla (from the previous film) that has made him a walking time bomb capable of destroying all life on Earth. Meanwhile, a nasty critter called Destoroyah has evolved out of the residue from the oxygen destroyer that initially killed Godzilla in his first movie and is wreaking havoc everywhere (to hell with logic and continuity!!!). Lots of nifty destruction and monster bashing, but still a little cheesy. Too bad Godzilla didn't get the same makeover that Gamera got for his comeback.
