Another retread of "La Femme Nikita" (1990) featuring Jade Leung as the femme fatale and Simon Yam as her mentor. An overly butch Jade Leung gives a fine performance, but her character wasn't feminine enough to keep me interested. (actually, I liked Bridget Fonda's portrayal in "Point Of No Return" (1993) more) Average action fare, but kind of disappointing. Additionally, the subtitles are sporadic, going from fair to none. In fact, the first 22 minutes aren't translated at all.
