A pop art odyssey in which The Beatles are recruited to save the idyllic Pepperland from a horde of Blue Meanies, who are intent on turning the countryside blue and devoid of music. To reach Pepperland, John, Paul, George, and Ringo board a fantastical yellow submarine and encounter all sorts of strange and wonderful things. When they finally arrive in the besieged Pepperland, they lead a revolt against the Blue Meanies through the power of song. All you need is love, right? Fun and quirky psychedelia, accompanied by an onslaught of bad puns and classic Beatles pop riffs.
