An evil vampire named Count Magnus is causing trouble for a young girl, and she goes out in search of a vampire slayer. She finds a tall and dark stranger named D, and he's interested in the job. D is quite an interesting fellow. It turns out that he too is a vampire, and he's got a talking hand that seems to have a will of its own. Very weird. Anyway, the animation is good (very 1980's looking), and the film is full of bizarre monsters and violently bloody battles. Definitely not one for the kiddies! Enjoyable, if not a tad too long.
