A mysterious circus comes to town which results in Lum being kidnapped and Ataru being turned into a pink hippopotamus! You can imagine the affect this has on his girl chasing. But soon, everything returns to normal as everyone learns to live without Lum and gets on with their now uninteresting lives. Eventually, Ataru comes to his senses and manages to rescue Lum from her prison and everything returns to the chaotic norm. It's a fun outing full of the zany humor you'd expect from the series, plus some truly heartbreaking moments.
