Merinda and I saw this movie on our first date. Ah, good memories... It's entertaining and full of action, but the animation is kind of sloppy. Many of the original Transformers, including Optimus Prime, are killed in the first twenty minutes, and the new Transformers have to take on an all powerful adversary called Unicron. The film is most noteworthy for its rocking soundtrack, including an intense rendition of the Transformer's theme by Lion, and a couple of kickin' tunes by Kick Axe.
