The wizard Gar Gnargorath summons the demon Demotep to the planet Orbus Kaal, but a local demigod doesn't take kindly to the new cosmic threat and squashes it. This leads to a duel with Gar, who somehow transforms into a dinosaur.
The film is a neon-soaked, stop-motion fantasy adventure that looks like it oozed off the pages of "Heavy Metal" back in the 90s. It also doesn't make a damned bit of sense and the narrative is extremely difficult to follow. This is independent filmmaking at its most raw and unfiltered, and while I certainly appreciate the passion, artistry, and craftsmanship, it's a difficult film to actually enjoy. Thankfully, it's only 38 minutes long. That said, it gave me a lot to think about regarding my own art and creative dreams.
