I only watched about twenty episodes of this TV series before getting utterly bored. Goku is all grown up now and has a son. When some nasty aliens come to Earth with death and destruction on their agenda, it's up to Goku and the gang to stop them. Combat is the central theme in this series, and there are several fights that literally go on non-stop for three or more episodes. Boring... Additionally, the bad guys are so obscenely powerful that they're not even remotely interesting, which causes the battle scenes to become pointless and uninteresting as well. A disappointment.
